Why the White Desert
Open horizons and the stillness to feel every second
Egypt’s Western Desert offers an exceptionally open landscape. August is normally dry with clear skies in this arid region, while the absence of city buildings and urban crowding creates a calm setting for the eclipse. Weather can never be guaranteed, but the location is selected to give guests an unobstructed horizon and a strong viewing environment.
The selected camp and viewing area lie within the path of totality for the 2 August 2027 eclipse.
A wide desert horizon without buildings, traffic or the dense crowds expected around major cities.
A permitted event camp with a maximum of 100 tourists, supported by local guides and an on-site medical professional.
Your eclipse base
Desert atmosphere with the comfort August requires
The 2027 eclipse camp will be a fully serviced setup designed specifically for the event. Sleeping tents, open seating, dining and viewing areas will all be air-conditioned so guests can stay comfortable throughout the day.
Cooling across sleeping, seating, dining and eclipse viewing areas
Food prepared fresh with vegetarian options, water and cold drinks
Coverage and charging points distributed throughout the camp
Dedicated toilets, first aid support and an on-site medical professional
Every photograph on this page comes from journeys and camps operated by our own team. The 2027 event camp will be a larger purpose-built setup, so we use our real previous work to show the care and atmosphere behind the experience.

Questions travelers usually ask
Everything important is explained here before checkout. If you still need help, speak directly with our local team on WhatsApp.

Yes. The selected and permitted viewing area in White Desert National Park is within the path of totality for the 2 August 2027 total solar eclipse. Exact operational coordinates will be managed by our team and relevant authorities.

How do I reserve and how much is the deposit?
As long as this tour is not marked Sold Out, you can book directly through our secure checkout. The deposit is $300 for each adult and $150 for each child aged 7–17. Children aged 0–6 travel free and require no deposit. Every paid deposit is credited toward the traveler’s final package price.
